The next two are brother and sister so I wanted to make them similar!!

My friend Lisa asked me to create these for her husband as a Christmas present. Matt composed the words and took the pictures and she wanted me to make a fluent piece they could use for a wall hanging.
I have reduced the quality a bit, but wanted to show you what they looked like. One of my most favorite projects by far, I think they turned out well.

This was made for Gauge Garrett. Instead of doing the meaning of his name we used the verse she prayed over him while he was in the womb.

This one was a hard one for me. But in church on Sunday I finally got a picture. It was of a tree, -now- I know I really like trees, but it was because of the tree of knowledge in the Garden. So that is how this one came about.

Here is what the family wrote:
at the beginning of my pregnancy I was having some problems and lab work showed that the baby was potentially not growing well. We were worried for several weeks that we might lose this child and prayed that God would please save our baby. He did, and our daughter's name means "Out of our bitterness, God answered.

Wounded Mother

This is one of my favs. Originally I got this picture for my sister. She has had a lot of ups and down in her life, but I am watching now God restore so much brokeness and it is so beautiful.

But when someone contacted my about a mother who had lost a child I had to get it on paper. I think it applies for all of us who are wounded and there are no battles that are not fought for a reason.

So this one is for you- to the one who only sees pain. Know there will be a beautiful harvest when it is done.
